NCSRD - National Center for Scientific Research DEMOKRITOS (Coordinator)

The Airtech Lab belongs to the Institute of Nuclear & Radiological Sciences & Technology, Energy & Safety of NCSR “DEMOKRITOS”. The purpose of the laboratory is to develop and implement integrated methodologies for understanding atmospheric chemical and physical processes and assessing their interactions with human health. The objectives of the lab focus on topics of scientific interest in the field of atmospheric chemical processes and their social effects. The main thematic area of the lab is: Environment and Health.

NCSRD role in the project is the Coordination, management & dissemination, photocatalytic efficiency evaluation, real scale applications and spin-off.

The Research and Development Department of the Giannidis Group (Research and Development, R&D) – VITEX with experienced, scientific, and creative human resources and fully equipped lab conducts research to either create new products or further improving existing ones or providing the best possible results both qualitatively and environmentally. It also specifies the raw materials, equipment and processes used in the production. The Group’s Research and Development department closely monitors international technologies developments and trends to be able to identify new markets in a timely and proper manner and promote appropriate products through effective sales networks. The aim is to achieve the least possible environmental and environmental impact public health throughout the product life cycle. For this reason, it is given immediately priority in the design and development of innovative photocatalytic products and antifouling properties. The production of VISIONS photo-paint will be conducted in VITEX which is a paint industry. Its primary mission is the production of the paints and coatings of various types (solventborne, waterborne, etc.)

AUTH - ARISTOTELIO PANEPISTIMIO THESSALONIKIS

The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), with more than 2000 members of scientific personnel and 45000 undergraduate and graduate students. The Laboratory of Heat Transfer and Environmental Engineering (LHTEE) belongs to the Energy Section of the Mechanical Engineering. LHTEE conducts research in the field of environmental engineering and energy systems with emphasis on the rational use of raw materials and energy, the assessment of the environmental burden caused by various processes and the optimization of environmental control and management practices. Scientific work spans over a wide range of areas, from air pollution modelling to Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and from recycling studies to eco-design. LHTEE is particularly active in the assessment of air pollution mitigation options in the coupled indoor – outdoor environment in urban areas.
